Independent Living

Independent living communities provide housing for seniors who do not need assistance but a safe and secure place to live. Options are a studio, one and two bedroom apartments. Some included washer/dryer and sun decks. Each apartment is unique in offering features such as grab bars, emergency pull cords, and locked secured facility at night. Services might include one large meal, a complimentary breakfast bar, housekeeping, planned recreational outings, social activities and public transportation is available. Some communities have beauty/barber, gift shops, general store and exercise room with work-out machines. Keeping seniors independent and active is the goal of these communities.
